Diclofenac Sodium Injection

Diclofenac Sodium Injection 25 mg/ml is a fast-acting, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) solution designed for intramuscular (IM) or intravenous (IV) administration. It is widely used for the management of acute pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders, postoperative recovery, and other conditions. With its potent analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory properties, Diclofenac Sodium Injection delivers rapid and effective relief for moderate to severe pain.

Recommended Usage:

• Indications:
  • Acute musculoskeletal pain
  • Postoperative pain and inflammation
  • Renal colic
  • Pain associated with acute flare-ups of osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis
  • Dysmenorrhea (severe menstrual pain)
• Dosage and Administration:
  • Administered via intramuscular (IM) injection or slow intravenous (IV) infusion under medical supervision.
  • Typical dose for adults: 25-75 mg every 6-8 hours, not exceeding 150 mg per day.
  • Adjust dosage for elderly patients or those with renal or hepatic impairment.
  • Administer IM injections deeply into the gluteal muscle to reduce local irritation.
• Precautions:
  • Avoid use in patients with known hypersensitivity to diclofenac or other NSAIDs.
  • Contraindicated in patients with a history of gastrointestinal bleeding, peptic ulcer, or severe renal impairment.
  • Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular risks, liver dysfunction, or asthma.
  • Not recommended during the third trimester of pregnancy.
